Ironically, I consider myself equally a home body and an outdoorsy person, using both of those interests to inspire my physical art practice and content creation. Reading, drinking tea, getting fresh air on a walk, and photography are all things you can count on me doing when I’m not in the studio getting my hands dirty.

My joy for ceramics started when I was completing my BFA at NSCAD, majoring in photography, while working at a Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Studio part time. I gained a base knowledge in ceramics there, quickly falling in love with the craft and community. However, there was only so much I could learn working there, and my desire for more skills and knowledge grew, leading me to approach an artist in my area looking for an intern - Amy!

For over a year now, I’ve been practicing my wheel throwing and glazing skills under Amy’s guidance, steadily growing my abilities. While there is still so much to learn, I’m thrilled to now be in a place where I’m starting to build relationships and share pieces with you!
